Overview

The Strategic Account Support Representative (SAR) will function as the assigned technical sales and product support expert at assigned dealers by educating sales representatives on the features and benefits of all Sharp products.

This position will be covering the Southeast Region and may be located in any of the following markets close to a major airport:
Florida and Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to all strategic dealer site locations and perform planned sales generating activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic dealership personnel.
  • Plan and develop specific training as requested by the dealership and management.
  • Train all sales and marketing personnel on products including hardware and software.
  • Provide a first point of contact for all sales personnel at strategic dealerships as it relates to product questions and answers.
  • Ride with dealer sales reps in the field on dealer sales calls to assist in demonstrating Sharp products and closing sales.
  • Timely replies on any competitive product questions from dealer.
  • Work closely with TBM on any product-related activity including sales presentations and demonstrations.
  • Assist or lead on all Sharp hardware and software product launches at all the assigned dealership locations.
  • Create and schedule with assigned Sr. TBM monthly meetings to promote marketing and sales promotions onsite at dealer locations.
  • Attendance as requested at regional road shows, offsite personnel development/training, fiscal review meetings, and national sales meetings.
  • Achieve quota expectations and any assigned MBO’s.
  • Manage to expectations which would include but are not limited to the following:
  • Total number of sales reps selling Sharp.
  • Sales growth across multiple product lines.
  • Achieving documented sales activities per month as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in selling Copier and Imaging Systems documents through the dealer channel is preferred.
  • Proficiency in information technology and an understanding of technology sales.
  • Must have good knowledge of sales, service, and administrative functions.
  • Military experience (with or without college degree) is highly encouraged.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Travel varies from 30–60% within multiple territories in the Southeast.
Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $67,000 - $84,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
