Overview

As part of the Orkin Commercial sales team, you will promote a highly persuasive pitch backed by award-winning training and an iconic brand with almost 125 years of protecting homes and businesses.

You’ll have the opportunity to maximize financial potential with high-performance sales skills and contribute to overall business success, including an annual rewards trip for top performers.

Responsibilities
  • Understand Orkin products and services and sell them to a variety of industries.
  • Make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to prevent pests and uphold quality and safety.
  • Build trusted relationships and serve as an empathetic problem solver.
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
  • Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
  • Conduct inspections of customers’ commercial property and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Prepare sales agreements using provided iPad and stay organized.

Qualifications
  • No experience required; sales experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain required pesticide license/certification (company paid).
  • Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
  • Safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Navigate crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops; ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including potentially an OSHA-compliant respirator.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
