Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and technically knowledgeable Sales Support Specialist to assist our sales team in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role requires both strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a qualified agent or specialist with a passion for supporting sales efforts through technical solutions, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
Compensation:
$50,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities- Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise during the sales process, including answering detailed product questions and offering insights into the product's technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and translate them into appropriate product recommendations.
- Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Support the preparation of quotes, bids, and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to stay updated on product developments, features, and improvements.
- Participate in customer meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions to explain complex technical concepts in a simplified manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues that may arise during the sales process.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, feedback, and product specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.) or equivalent technical experience a plus.
- Proven experience in a technical support, engineering, or sales support role.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with an ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with multiple departments.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
- Customer-focused with a desire to deliver exceptional service.
