ScopeThe Territory Sales Representative will generate revenue and meet sales targets by establishing and maintaining relationships with independent agencies, while identifying new business opportunities in the Broward and Palm Beach County area.
Primary Responsibilities- Initiate contact with independent agencies within the designated territory.
- Identify decision makers and key contacts.
- Ensure agencies have accurate contact information and know the responsible departments.
- Familiarize yourself with the agency’s history and operations.
- Assess opportunities for growth and profitability.
- Analyze agency size, volume, target market, and lead generation methods.
- Identify barriers and challenges to adopting our products/services.
- Position our products and services effectively based on discovery insights.
- Highlight features and benefits aligned with agency needs.
- Establish clear commitments, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
- Conduct 16–20 unique in‑person sales calls per week, each lasting about one hour.
- Schedule and travel efficiently between appointments and administrative tasks.
- Maintain a shared calendar and avoid duplicate efforts.
- Document visits and enter detailed notes into the calendar within 24 hours.
- Associate degree in business, communications, marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- EPA/NAIC 220 license preferred but not required.
- 3 years of proven field sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bilingual fluency (English & Spanish) preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales technology.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and willing to travel up to 50% of the time within the territory.
