Florida Citrus Intern at Syngenta

At Syngenta, we are building a collaborative team in agriculture that provides leading seeds and crop protection innovations to enhance farmer prosperity. As a Citrus Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience working with a mentor and a territory for a summer project, learning territory management and pest and disease identification.

• Soil sampling support (fungicides)

• Sophomore or junior class standing, working toward a bachelor’s degree – preferably in agriculture or related field
• Ability to relocate to or originally from one of the following counties:
  Polk, Highlands, Hardee, Desoto, Hendry, Collier, Lee, Okeechobee, Martin, Osceola, St. Lucie, or Indian River
• Demonstrated leadership ability in student organizations and/or work experiences
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable moving violations record
• Strong customer focus, business acumen, resilience, interpersonal savvy, and integrity
• Basic familiarity with production agriculture
• Basic familiarity with pest, disease, and weed control
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work outdoors
• Self‑motivated, detail oriented, honest, and personable
