  • Facilitate communication between the sales department, customers, vendors, and logistics providers.
  • Maintain and update customer account information within internal systems.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to provide pricing and product availability based on customer specifications and market conditions.
  • Schedule produce pick-up and delivery appointments with growers, packing facilities, transportation companies, and customers.
  • Assist with coordinating the movement of fresh berry shipments including strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
  • Investigate customer inquiries, shipment discrepancies, or service concerns and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain communication with the Accounting department and assist with account reconciliation when necessary.

  • Build and optimize outbound loads to improve freight efficiency while maintaining on-time delivery.
  • Review sales orders, ship dates, and delivery locations to identify opportunities for load consolidation and more efficient routing.
  • Analyze inventory across warehouse and cooler locations to determine the most efficient shipping point for customer orders.
  • Monitor daily freight cost per case and adjust load planning, carrier selection, or shipping location as needed.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, warehouses, and carriers to ensure orders are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time.
