Flex Agent - Executive Protection – Experience Required

Unarmed/armed position to provide overall support to protective security details in the United States. Domestic travel required, and at times international travel required. Comfortable in fast‑paced environments and social settings with high‑profile public figures.

• Ensure overall safety and security of designated principals.
• Drive principals to various venues and off‑site assignments.
• Maintain appearance and equipment proficiency.
• Communicate with principal’s staff and vendors using a customer‑service approach.
• Adapt to tasks outside traditional security roles.
• Interact with children and employ critical thinking and improvisation.
• Exhibit strong emotional intelligence and self‑awareness.
• Socially engineer desired outcomes.
• Submit to pre‑employment, post‑accident, and random drug testing as required.
• Work shifts that may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Travel domestically and internationally.
• Provide close protection to principals at venues, events, business meetings, and personal trips.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude and conduct.
• Conduct advance work for routes, venues, and travel trips.
• Prepare detailed written reports.
• Coordinate with principal’s staff and outside personnel for seamless operations.
• Maintain physical fitness: stand for several hours, cover protective activities, run, swim, hike over long periods.
• Defend against threats, using defensive tactics, de‑escalation, and active engagement when necessary.

• Florida Class D License
• Florida Class G License
• Valid United States Driver’s License
• Current Passport (minimum six‑month validity)
• CPR / First Aid / AED certified for adults, children, and infants

• Certification from a recognized EP school
• Graduation from a certified driving school (preferred)
• Military or law‑enforcement experience is a plus
• Training in defensive tactics, counter‑surveillance, covert protection
• First‑Responder, Paramedic, or EMT certifications are a plus
• Active participation in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, ocean sports
• Florida CCW permit (plus)

• Minimum 2 years of relevant EP experience
• Proficiency with smartphones, communications, tracking apps, and collaboration tools
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and as a solo practitioner
• Excellent communication skills, professional and confident in conversations with clients, superiors, peers, and vendors

• Ability to capture and detain individuals if required
• Prolonged sitting of 5+ hours at a desk while monitoring surveillance equipment
• Prolonged standing for 4–5+ hours
• Lift 50 pounds at a time
• Lift, drag, or move a person up to 200 pounds or more if necessary
• Flexibility to bend, twist, stoop, and crawl
• Capability to respond to physical attacks, natural disasters, and evacuations
• Engage in physical activities such as hiking, biking, and swimming

$44.58/hour

Full‑time, On‑Call/As‑Needed (Flex Agent with potential to transition to full‑time)
