Position
Purpose:
The Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). They utilize tools to minimize loss, including identifying theft and fraud incidents, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring store security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Responsibilities also include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
The specialist must report hazards, minimize injury risks, demonstrate integrity, and support operational and asset protection concerns, focusing on store-specific objectives.
