Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.26 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Day - Mon: 05:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Tue: 05:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Sat: 12:00 AM – 07:00 AM

- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security‑related concerns according to company and location guidelines.
- Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and members of the public while upholding site‑specific requirements.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to those at the location.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.
- Operate communication devices and security‑related equipment as required for the post.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Applicants must provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
