Responsibilities- Implement safety and security strategy aligned with the objectives of FIFA
26 and FIFA Zurich. - Assist with the development and execution of plans that ensure a coordinated, measured approach reflecting the highest standards of safety, security, and service.
- Manage a multifaceted team responsible for delivering across a range of safety and security areas, including third parties (suppliers, local security teams, etc.).
- Participate in multi‑agency, multi‑country Safety and Security Working Groups and serve as a FIFA
26 representative on workshops and coordination groups related to the stadium scope. - Liaise with venue, stakeholder, state, and local security agencies to support overall World Cup security coordination, preventing and responding to potential threats and incidents.
- Conduct safety and security assessments of World Cup stadiums within scope and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Work closely with partners and departments—Venue Management, Planning & Integration, Host City Management, Facilities, Operations, Technology, Cybersecurity, Legal—to integrate safety and security considerations into all execution processes.
- Support efforts with Host City Committees and FIFA World Cup 2026™ venue teams to incorporate requirements into overall safety and security strategies.
- Manage the implementation of safety and security protocols related to asset protection, crowd management, access control, and other services for all client groups at the stadium.
- Support training and operational readiness activities to prepare staff for match‑day operations.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of safety and security operations at the stadium and present to the Senior Manager for Safety and Security, supporting regular and ad‑hoc reporting to the Safety & Security executive leadership team.
- Support match‑day operations—including operational readiness, coordination of preparatory meetings, operational coordination of security resources, reporting during match operations, supporting field security resources, issue resolution, and end‑of‑day reporting.

Education & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to safety, security, or event management.
- Minimum 5 years managing safety and security for large, complex organizations, with a focus on stadium safety and security operations. Experience with FIFA tournaments and private security management is a plus.
- Knowledge of sport event safety and security planning best practices.
- Deep understanding of risk management, crisis response, and emergency preparedness.
