Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full-Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for residents. You will interact with residents and guests, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies when required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
- Collaborate with residents, visitors, and property management to address questions or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Remain alert to environmental conditions and/or hazards within the location and report any issues as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
