• Protect public figures, coordinate crime prevention activities, and guard government property.
• Monitor federal building access control, employee and visitor identification checks, security equipment monitoring, and roving patrols of the interior and exterior of federal property.
• Provide detailed reports on daily activities and/or incidents that may have occurred.
• Use provided communication devices, such as two-way radios, clearly and concisely.
• Provide emergency response and evaluation procedures.
• Perform CPR or first aid when needed.
• Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Project Manager.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be a United States citizen or a lawful permanent resident who is currently a member of, or possesses a verifiable honorable discharge from, any component of the United States Armed Forces.
• Been issued a Social Security Card by the Social Security Administration, which bears the individual name and social security number.
• A minimum of two (2) years of security (armed) experience or one (1) year of law enforcement experience in a full‑duty status with a full‑service police department in a municipality, state, or federal law enforcement department within the US.
• A minimum of two (2) years as a member of any U.S. Armed Forces with an honorable discharge.
• Knowledgeable and able to effectively use magnetometer and X‑ray machines.
• Must fluently speak, read, comprehend English, and be able to compose written reports in English.
• Must be able to qualify with a semi‑automatic.
• Strong relevant knowledge of the security industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a customer service‑driven mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers.

• Physically able to perform tasks in the performance of assigned duties.
• Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping up to 12 hours per day, indoors or outdoors, during daytime or nighttime. Outdoor posts may require an individual to withstand extreme heat, humidity, cold, and/or severe weather.
• Frequent contact with the public, law enforcement, and dispatch center, requiring an ability to speak clearly and distinctly and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to remain on post for up to four (4) consecutive hours without sitting, eating, or receiving a break.
• Ability to remain alert for up to 12 hours, with the ability to mentally and physically react quickly to various unexpected and dangerous situations.
• Ability to use post‑security equipment (handheld and walk‑through metal detectors, X‑ray machine, CCTV).
• Ability to read Post Orders, assignments, Be‑on‑the‑Lookout (BOLO), write reports, and respond to both routine and emergency dispatches/orders.
• Ability to subdue violent or potentially violent or disturbed individuals or intervene in a crisis.
• Occasional running, sprinting, lifting heavy weights, moving heavy objects, climbing stairs.
