What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall interior, exterior common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas for unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations; document observations and complete required reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing directions, supporting customer concerns, and communicating with mall management, tenants, and local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
