Roof Inspector - QA Tech Rep I - FL

This full‑time, year‑round, salary‑based position is located in Pompano Beach, Florida and includes a company vehicle, cell phone, tablet, and expense account.

• Physically inspect roof installations for quality and workmanship.
• Issue the roof warranty in accordance with the Duro‑Last specifications.
• Make repairs to Duro‑Last roofs.
• Conduct on‑site training classes and offer guidance to contractors in proper roof installation.
• Provide support to Duro‑Last contractors and sales reps in territory.
• Schedule inspections and repairs and prepare warranty reports.
• Perform a physically demanding job that requires bending, lifting, pulling, climbing, etc.
• Other job duties as assigned.

• Two to four years of experience in commercial low‑slope roofing, construction, roof inspection or quality assurance is highly desirable.
• Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation and communication skills (oral and written).
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
• Strong work ethics; punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Capability to complete responsibilities and operate equipment following company production, personnel and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend roofing specifications.l>
• Professional communication and conflict handling skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (MVR).
• Willingness to do extensive regional travel.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to pass a physical agility test, drug screen and criminal background check.
