Field Telecommunications Technician

Field Telecommunications Technician – SONIFI Solutions, Inc.

We are looking for a Field Telecommunications Technician in the Miami, FL area who has a strong desire to resolve technical issues, is flexible, learns quickly, and can work independently while providing support and guidance to our customer base on SONIFI products. You will be the face of an exciting technical organization.

No desk – Your day will be spent supporting our customers in your region. We will supply you with the tools needed for success: a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, laptop, and technical support.

• Provide onsite support to hospitality and healthcare customers, troubleshooting and resolving high‑speed internet, satellite TV, digital TV, telecom, CATV, MATV, head‑end, RF, networking and computer issues.
• Communicate thoughtfully and professionally with staff, respecting boundaries and protocols.
• Adapt to changing priorities and requests, including occasional travel outside your area, on‑call and overtime/weekday work to meet service level agreements.

• Technical degree plus one year of related experience, OR high school diploma/GED plus three years of work experience.
• Experience in any of the following:
  High‑Speed Internet, Satellite TV, Digital TV, Telecom, CATV, MATV, head‑end, RF, Networking, and/or computer troubleshooting.

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving habits for company vehicle operation.
• Flexible schedule with occasional travel, on‑call and overtime/weekday availability.

• Competitive hourly pay starting at $26–$33 per hour (subject to adjustment based on location, experience, education, specialty, and training).
