Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our hotel facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for our guests and staff. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional technical skills.

• Conduct routine inspections and ensure maintenance of mechanical systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, and other systems within the hotel.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from both staff and guests.
• Coordinate with external contractors for larger repairs and projects when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including materials used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Collaborate with hotel management to assess long-term maintenance needs and suggest improvements.
• Manage inventory of repair supplies and tools, ordering new materials as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Ability to perform minor repairs on furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Vocational training or a relevant certification in building maintenance is preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
