Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work within the National Accounts department, focusing on electrical lighting maintenance such as changing bulbs, ballasts, and drivers on existing fixtures. The role involves working from aerial lifts, interfacing directly with customers, and resolving lighting issues professionally and safely. Documentation of work via electronic devices is required, necessitating familiarity with smartphone and tablet technology. The candidate must uphold high standards of professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic lighting components.
• Installing and mounting lighting controls, sensors, and devices.
• Operating aerial lifts and bucket trucks safely.
• Testing lighting systems and circuits with testing devices.
• Inspecting sites and reviewing work orders, plans, and manuals to determine materials and procedures.
• Diagnosing lighting system malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools.
• Reading contract drawings.
• Troubleshooting EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Successful background check and drug test.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and punctuality.

Optional but Preferred

• OSHA 10 certification.
• Additional relevant certifications (e.g., lift/ariel training).

Abilities

• Lifting at least 100 pounds, extended periods of 60 pounds.
• Handling ladders and working at heights up to 60 feet.
• Physical ability to walk, climb, lift, and perform routine tasks.
• Good vision, color perception, and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize issues and apply general rules to solve problems.
• Close-range vision and auditory communication.
