Every piece we deliver reflects precision, innovation, and craftsmanship. We’re currently seeking a Millwork Installation Manager to lead the final and most visible phase of our work: installation. This role is perfect for a solution-oriented leader who thrives in the field, has a deep understanding of architectural millwork, and ensures each project is delivered on time, on spec, and on brand.

What

You’ll Do

As Installation Manager, you’ll serve as the critical link between our production facility and job sites: ensuring the millwork we build is expertly installed with care and accuracy.

  • Lead Installation Planning:
    Create installation schedules, coordinate site access, and manage field crews and trade partners.
  • Oversee Field Verification:
    Perform site measurements and review conditions to confirm alignment with shop drawings and engineering.
  • Ensure Installation Excellence:
    Inspect components pre-delivery, monitor site installation progress, and uphold quality control standards.
  • Manage Tools, Materials & Logistics:
    Track inventory, schedule shipments, and maintain installation equipment.
  • Represent McKenzie On-Site:
    Act as the main point of contact during installations, communicating clearly with GCs, clients, and internal teams.
  • Enforce Jobsite Safety:
    Maintain compliance with McKenzie safety standards and oversee PPE use and jobsite protocols.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience supervising custom millwork installations (residential and/or commercial)
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry, site coordination, and architectural millwork
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and install crews while resolving on-site issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, scheduling software, and daily field reporting
  • Clear communicator with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • PPE required: steel-toe boots, protective eyewear, hearing protection, and hard hat
  • Must adhere to McKenzie’s safety standards and protocols
