A Mas Tec Civil Equipment Operator is a skilled craft position responsible for operating heavy construction equipment on various projects. The role involves performing tasks such as handling, inspecting, and maintaining equipment like backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders, while adhering to safety standards.

** Responsibilities*
* - Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily safety and operational inspections
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance
- Understand equipment controls and limitations
- Follow safety protocols and assist in other duties as needed
- Ensure proper handling of materials and utility location awareness
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards are met
- Assist in loading/unloading materials and setting up construction sites
** Qualifications*
* - Minimum 1-year experience with loaders/backhoes, 3 years with excavators/bulldozers, or 5 years in roadway finishing
- Certification or documentation as required
- High school diploma preferred
