Overview
We are seeking a Building Control Systems Operator (BMS Operator) to join our federal team based at USAG Camp Humphrey's in Pyeongtek, South Korea location. This position will monitor and operate the building control system in a high security command center on Camp Humphrey's. This position requires a Department of Defense clearance so the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance within one year of employment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a very challenging yet rewarding military facility making a true contribution to our nation's defenses. The successful candidate will be expected to live in South Korea and will be provided with a housing and subsistence allowance.

Pay,location and schedule
Pay range: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour. Negotiable based on experience. Monthly living allowance stipend also provided.
Location: USAG Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtek, South Korea (must be able to live and work in South Korea full-time)
Shift: Supports a 24/7/265 environment so primary shift may rotate at times.
BenefitsEligible for benefits on first day of employment. Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year.
Travel Required:
Limited, all work will be at the Camp Humphrey's location.
- Maintain and monitor the performance of the Building Automation and Control Systems. This includes monitoring and managing equipment and system alarms utilizing graphical user interfaces and control system programs
- Validates equipment and system alarms, and creates work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for the Technicians to follow up with
- Continuously monitors the Facility Control Systems, primarily using Metasys to ensure proper operation of all systems and equipment
- Conducts shift turnover meetings when coming on shift and when finishing shifts
- Completes shift reports and logs primarily in Microsoft Word and Excel
- May perform minor maintenance and service on HVAC equipment to include, but not limited to, filter changes, greasing, and other preventative maintenance duties
- Receive calls and dispatch personnel to troubleshoot issues
- Applicant will be cross trained to monitor and respond to the Fire Alarm system in addition to the Facility Control System
- Active Department of Defense Top Secret (or higher clearance) or one that was active within the last 2 years
- Knowledge and competency of HVAC principles
- Knowledge and proficiency using a computer
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision
- Building operator experience, preferably with Direct Digital Controls (DDC) to view, monitor and operate facility control systems
- Knowledge and proficiency working with Metasys
- Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for creating work orders
- HVAC mechanical maintenance and service experience
- BAS systems experience
- HVAC Technical School training and/or certifications
- Metasys certified
- Experience with Fire Alarm Systems (Honeywell Notifier specifically)
