Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marine Technician located in Miami, FL. The Marine Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting marine engines, transmissions, electrical wiring systems, and other related components. Daily tasks include diagnostic evaluations, repairs using industry-standard tools and equipment, maintaining an organized workspace, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. The Marine Technician will also communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates on repair progress and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in boat systems, including the maintenance and repair of marine engines, transmissions, and related components.
- Knowledge and experience with motors and electrical wiring, including diagnosing and repairing faults.
- Background in marine environments, such as experience with marine equipment or familiarity with maritime operations, is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in marine technology or a related technical field are advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
- Physical ability to work on boats and marine equipment in varying weather conditions.
