JetVac Operator Helper; CDL-B On-Demand

Job Summary:

Operate Sewer cleaning equipment as part of the service contract duties and responsibilities to company customers. Operate equipment in accordance with safety and operating guidelines.

Pay: $22 - $24

Hours:

7:00AM - 5:00PM, Mon - Fri

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform duties in conjunction with a work crew to clean and clear sewers, catchbasinsand remove wastewater.
• Drive and operate company trucks and equipment.
• Service various customer needs using company equipment.
• Operate Jet Vac & related equipment.
• Complete paperwork related to the work and company / customer requirements.
• Interact with customers to ensure the work is completed to their satisfaction.
• Communicate with office regarding obstacles, needs and customer interactions.
• Document any changes to the scope of work or project changes.
• Accept additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment,repair,or facilitate repair as necessary

Job Requirements:

• CDL Class A or B
• Tanker and Air Brake Endorsement
• Clean Driving Record
• DOT Medical Card Ability to read a map Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to pull hose up to 500 feet
• Ability to understand DOT requirements and regulations
• Availability for a significant amount of overtime during peak periods
• Honesty/ Integrity required
• Attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to communicate both written and verbal
• Requires work performed in outdoor environments/exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration
• Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, heights, and confined spaces
• Exposure to noxious odors/fumes and moderate to high noise levels
• Exposure to bodily fluids / human waste, etc.
• Possibility of working out of town for extended periods of time
• Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling,gripping,and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required. Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.
