Foster Grandparent Supervisor
Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Counseling Gerontology, or a related field. Experience in social work may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Must possess a valid State of Florida Driver’s License.
The Foster Grandparent Supervisor position resides in the Community Action and Human Services department. The incumbent will be responsible for recruiting and overseeing senior participants in the Foster Grandparent program across Miami Dade County. This position necessitates the use of a personal vehicle for weekly field work and handles extensive paperwork. This position reports to the Foster Grandparent Coordinator in the Community Action and Human Services department, who reviews records for accuracy and comprehensiveness of required information while also providing guidance in unusual or difficult situations encountered.
