Software Engineer III

Software Engineers play a key role in the design, development/configuration, unit testing, installation, and ongoing maintenance of Zinnia’s software platforms. Zinnia Software Engineers work with stakeholders to develop solutions and/or products that fulfill the needs of Zinnia internal stakeholders and clients. Those solutions and/or products help Zinnia and Zinnia clients to be more efficient and provide better service to end customers.

Software Engineers interact directly with project leaders, business stakeholders.

• Work as part of a global, cross-functional team to develop innovative software for Zinnia stakeholders.
• Contribute to projects by creating well-designed, customized, testable, efficient code for company platforms.
• Assist our teams in providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, improvements, or custom enhancements to existing company platforms.
• Collaborate with our global teams and internal stakeholders.

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Undergraduate degree in technology, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to develop software in C++, C#, Dot Net Core, etc.
• Experience developing with Web technology – Angular 13 +, React, Typescript, HTML, Java script
• Extensive Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc).
• Experience developing and deploying in a cloud-native environment
• Working knowledge of common Dev Ops tasks (Environment provisioning, CI/CD Pipelines, and application monitoring).
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional, global team.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.

Zinnia offers excellent career progression and competitive compensation with the goal of retaining and growing talented team members. The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate; it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual’s skills, education, experience, training, and geographic location.
