Software Engineer, C++ Developer

We’re currently seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer on behalf of a technology-driven trading firm known for low-latency systems, engineering excellence, and innovation. You will join a collaborative, high-impact engineering team working directly alongside traders and researchers to design, optimize, and evolve the systems that form the backbone of the trading platform.

• Design, implement, and optimize trading algorithms and core system components in C++.
• Collaborate closely with traders, researchers, and engineers to translate ideas into production‑ready solutions.
• Contribute to the automation and optimization of workflows across trading, research, and mid‑office teams.
• Manage operational aspects of the trading environment, including deployment, monitoring, and system tuning.
• Continuously analyze system performance to identify bottlenecks, reduce latency, and increase throughput.
• Stay on top of new technologies and approaches, bringing fresh ideas into the engineering team.

You are a pragmatic and hands‑on engineer who values code quality, precision, and results. You enjoy collaborating across teams, take ownership of your contributions, and thrive in high‑performance environments.

• Proven experience writing C++ production code in performance‑critical environments.
• Solid knowledge of modern C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17), including memory management, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a practical, results‑driven mindset.
• Exposure to Python is a plus (or eagerness to learn on the job).
• Familiarity with systems programming, networking, or low‑latency design is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.

• Base salary ranging between 140k and 200k USD.
