Client Overview: Our client is a Miami-based startup transforming how people interact with government services. Using advanced AI, they streamline complex processes like passports, visas, and vehicle registration — making them faster, easier, and stress‑free.

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a Back‑End Oriented Software Engineer to design and maintain the systems powering our platform — including real‑time communication, telephony, and task routing with Twilio
. You’ll work with Python, Postgre

SQL, Graph

QL, REST APIs, and Socket.io
, and collaborate closely with front‑end engineers using Next.js and NestJS to deliver seamless user experiences. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role where you’ll contribute directly to building scalable systems and improving performance for a fast‑growing AI platform.

• Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services
• Develop and maintain Graph
  
  QL and REST APIs
• Implement real‑time features using Socket.io and Twilio
• Integrate Twilio Sync, Task Router, and Telephony
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers and product teams
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the stack
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code

• 3+ years of experience building backend systems
• Strong in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Proficient with Graph
  
  QL, Typescript, and REST APIs
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database design
• Experience with real‑time systems (Socket.io or Web Sockets)
• Hands‑on experience with Twilio (Sync, Task Router, or Telephony)
