Position Overview The Senior Software Developer (SSD) designs, develops, and maintains advanced front-end and full-stack software solutions in support of data visualization, event modeling, and relationship analysis within a mission-focused environment. This role applies industry-standard development practices to deliver scalable, intuitive applications used by both technical and non-technical users. The SSD works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, support technology adoption, and deliver secure, high-quality software solutions.

Minimum Requirements Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field OR a minimum of 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
Strong fluency in:
Java Script
HTML5
CSS3
Node.js
AI/ML concepts and integrations

Experience with the following technologies:
Python
Grunt
Node.js
AngularJS
ArangoDB
SQL and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
SQL Server
PostgreSQL

Key Responsibilities Design and develop JavaScript-based applications for data visualization, event modeling, and relationship analysis
Apply industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
Solve and articulate complex technical problems through application design and product development
Develop software solutions intended for users who are not software developers
Collaborate with other programmers and developers to ensure project progress and integration
Leverage peer knowledge to identify technology trends and adoption patterns
Continuously evolve JavaScript and related language skills by staying current with emerging programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies
Support application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Expertise in JavaScript development for visualization and data interpretation
Ability to independently model events and relationships within complex data sets
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience working in collaborative, agile, or iterative development environments
Ability to translate technical requirements into clear, user-focused solutions
Database Experience Working knowledge of the following databases:
Elasticsearch
Dgraph
ArangoDB
SQL Server
PostgreSQL

Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems
Experience supporting DoD, intelligence, or other secure environments
Experience developing mission-critical or data-intensive applications
