As the Software Development Manager for Mobile Engineering
, you will lead the team responsible for the architecture, development, delivery and operation of Boats Group’s React Native Mobile apps and our 3 million + user install-base.

You will lead and grow engineers while staying close to the code: shaping architecture, reviewing critical changes, and working directly with the team to solve difficult technical and production problems. You will own the technical direction of our mobile platform and help us evolve toward a modern, modular application architecture that can support multiple products, teams and customer journeys.

You will help define how we use React Native and Expo across the mobile lifecycle from application structure and native integrations to CI/CD, over-the-air updates, observability, performance and App Store / Google Play delivery. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Platform and other engineering leaders to translate business priorities into a mobile platform that can move quickly without sacrificing quality or maintainability.

This role is Hybrid with some days required per week in our Miami Headquarters. Our office is in the Brickell financial district that overlooks the entire city & ocean with breathtaking views, chock full of motorized standup desks, relaxation pods, ping pong table & shuffleboard in the kitchen, a zillion kinds of free coffee & snacks to choose from, and more!
