Gymnastics Talent Scout

Job Description

• Identify and evaluate promising gymnastics athletes through school events, regional tournaments, and club competitions.
• Develop a scouting network and maintain relationships with coaches, trainers, and athletic institutions to monitor potential candidates.
• Assess athletes’ skills, performance history, and potential fit for competitive programs offered by the academy.
• Collaborate with coaching staff to align recruitment criteria with the academy’s performance standards and goals.
• Maintain and analyze records of athlete evaluations, including video footage, performance metrics, and scouting reports.
• Organize and attend talent showcases, invitationals, and exhibitions to identify new athletes.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations to the academy's management regarding athlete recruitment decisions.
• Coordinate tryouts and facilitate athlete visits and interviews with academy staff.
• Represent the academy at local and national sporting events to promote the brand and recruit elite talent.
• Stay current with industry trends, youth training standards, and regional/national gymnastics rankings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and policies regarding youth recruitment, safety, and ethics in sports.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to attend events and meet with athletes or families.
