The JCC in Miami, FL is looking for an AMAZING Pilates Instructor. The Reformer Pilates / Group Fitness Instructor will teach classes that are aimed at improving the overall fitness levels of our members. Ideal candidate will be a great motivator, always striving to improve the overall fitness levels of our members.

• Teach Pilates methodology in a group or one-to-one setting.
• Plan and execute classes for all levels of fitness using proper form and safe methods.
• Create programming to attract and retain membership.
• Maintain working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members.
• Ensure that all necessary equipment is set up for class, and inspect equipment to be sure that it is in safe working order.
• Be responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by the fitness center.
• Record attendance and/or check‑in participants in order to maintain attendance for each class.
• Ensure that there is a substitute instructor if you are unable to teach your assigned class.

• Nationally recognized comprehensive Pilates Certification.
• Must have National Certification, CPR/AED certification.
• Experience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus‑based group fitness class.
• Ability to demonstrate Reformer equipment use for exercise training.
• Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury.

• Pilates: 1 year (Preferred).
• Group Fitness: 1 year (Preferred).

• CPR/AED Certification (Required or willing to obtain).
• Pilates Certification (Required).

For fitness enthusiasts, our Fitness Center is a great place to play racquetball, train with a friend in the gym, play tennis or swim in our chilled/heated 25‑yard outdoor swimming pool. Our Youth and Adult Building, home to a wide selection of adult programs and our children’s department offers the young and young at heart a place to gather and socialize.

Also, our Sablotsky Cultural Arts Center hosts visual arts exhibits and performances for all ages and focuses on bringing renowned Jewish artists, authors, and entertainers for the community to enjoy!
