CompensationAt You Fit, we believe in rewarding our team members for their dedication and hard work. Our compensation structure is designed to recognize and incentivize performance while providing stability and growth opportunities within our organization. You Fit offers compensation packages that are competitive in the industry. These packages typically include base pay and class rates, along with opportunities for additional earnings through commissions and/or bonuses.
This is a part‑time hourly position.
Job Duties
- Class Planning & Delivery:
Design and conduct engaging fitness classes that cater to all fitness levels. - Technique Demonstration:
Showcase proper exercise techniques and form to ensure participant safety and effectiveness. - Adaptability:
Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate varying fitness levels. - Participant Monitoring:
Ensure the safety and effectiveness of all class participants through vigilant supervision. - Manual Compliance:
Adhere to the guidelines and standards set forth in the Group Exercise Manual. - Positive Environment:
Cultivate a motivating and supportive atmosphere for all class attendees. - Equipment Management:
Set up and maintain fitness equipment before and after classes. - Industry Knowledge:
Stay current with fitness trends and maintain relevant certifications. - Program Promotion:
Actively promote fitness programs and classes to encourage member participation. - Customer Service:
Deliver exceptional customer service and foster high levels of member engagement. - Health & Safety:
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment. - Equipment & Safety Reporting:
Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. - Staff Communication:
Liaise with fitness managers and other staff regarding class updates or issues. - Meeting Participation:
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. - Attendance Records:
Keep accurate records of class attendance. - Policy Enforcement:
Support and enforce club policies and procedures. - Participant Feedback:
Provide constructive feedback and address questions from class participants. - Computer Literacy:
Demonstrate intermediate computer literacy skills for job‑related software. - Additional Duties:
Perform other job‑related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Effective English communication skills. Fluency in multiple languages is favored.
- Passionate about fitness and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in multitasking, driven by self‑motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Committed to continuous personal development.
- The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a team member to perform the essential functions of this role successfully. While performing the duties of this role, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely an active role with some bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and stooping required.
- Local travel may be essential for this role.
