Job Title

Lifeguard (Temporary; Summer) at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine

Maintain a safe natatorium environment by enforcing pool and spa policies.

Salary: $17.00 per hour.

Hours:

Mon - Fri: 6am - 7:30pm;
Sat: 8am - 5pm;
Sun: 12pm - 5pm.

• Current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Certifications.
• Work unsupervised, requiring alert, responsible, and mature lifeguards.
• Positive attitude with an emphasis on customer service.

• Promote and enforce natatorium regulations and Whitten UC Pool policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of risk management and emergency procedures for lifesaving.
• Communicate with swimmers.
• Knowledge of swim programs and pool activities.
• Train new employees as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Attend semester in‑service training.
• Thorough knowledge of natatorium operations and proper enforcement of policies and procedures.
