• Serve as the direct contact with the kids and families to assure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Run practice for groups ranging from 10 to 30+ kids.
• Plan practice drills using the provided resources and curriculum.
• Lead kids and other coaches through program drills in a fun and engaging way.
• Move smoothly from one drill to the next, keeping players engaged and identifying volunteer opportunities to prevent downtime.
• Lead pre‑game and post‑game huddles that emphasize sportsmanship and mindfulness.
• Set up and clean up the field each week.
• Offer guidance to volunteers regarding drills and roles.
• Support volunteers when issues arise with parents, players, or venues.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Report any player, parent, referee, or coach issues to the site lead.

• At least 1 year of coaching or teaching experience.
• Attendance at mandatory staff training.
