Job Description

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses
• Knowledge of FARs – 91, 135, 133 and 137
• Fluent in English
• Lives in the greater Miami, FL area
• US Passport or Non-US Passport with permanent resident status required
• Ability and/or willingness to work days, nights, weekends, scheduled days off, and on‑call during busy periods
• Some travel required
• Pre‑employment drug‑screening required, as well as ongoing randomized testing
• Candidates currently DOI/USFS carded as mechanics for the Bell 407 will be given preference
• Candidates with Commercial Driver’s License with HAZMAT Endorsements will be given preference

HMC Helicopter Service is a Utility and Charter Helicopter Operator based at the KTMB airport (Miami, FL).

Our A&P Base/Field Mechanics perform a variety of general helicopter maintenance including, but not limited to, detailed aircraft inspections, minor repairs and alterations, preventative maintenance and servicing as well as pre‑flight inspections and gear changes for daily operations.

Our mechanics work mostly Mon‑Fri unless any contract work or aircraft issues requires weekend coverage. Occasional travel around the SE part of the United States or Bahamas is not uncommon.
