Pay Range: $28.00 an hour USD

Schedule: Monday - Friday (3:30pm - 11:30pm)

Equipment: Flatbed single car Dodge Ram 3500

Job Description: Logistics Driver - Flatbed Tow Operator (PM Shift)

• As a Logistics Flatbed Tow Operator, you will be responsible for properly recovering our vehicles on public roads when the need arises.
• This individual thrives in a customer service atmosphere and must have a clean driving record.
• You will be responsible for assisting in our transition towards being a more production-ready company.

• Operate and safely conduct recovery tasks on public roads.
• Pull a combined gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds; the current flatbed equipment Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is at 20,000 pounds.
• Ensure goods are transported and secured in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of company materials, vehicles, and trailers.
• Comply with all applicable DOT regulations.
• Timely and effective communication with dispatch and ground support is a must.
• Operate flatbed towing equipment to include winching, skating, snatch blocking, and shimmy off load, complex towing procedures.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs, including hours of service.
• Maintain and service vehicles as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Logistics and cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to provide great customer experience.

• Valid basic Class C driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to exit / enter vehicle multiple times a day and lift to 35 pounds.
• Meet DOT physical and medical requirements as necessary.
• Must pass a background check and drug testing requirements.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Ability to operate large and heavy vehicles with high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity.
• 2+ years proven towing experience with flatbed driving preferred.
• Must be flexible on work hours.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Hands‑on approach to getting the job done.
• Work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and adjust to provide great customer experience.
