As a Stockroom Clerk
, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the stockroom area. You will be responsible for the overall operations and processes, and for coordinating efforts between all departments. Accuracy meeting strict deadlines is of high urgency.
What you’ll do:
- Count, sort & process all incoming material
- Receive & allocate all incoming customer supplied material
- Manage document review process including review of supplier paperwork for accuracy and traceability
- Pick ticket processing
- Allocation of material to Work Orders based on priorities
- Maintaining accurate physical inventory as well as processing inventory transactions in the ERP system
- Manage inventory for hazardous materials & ensure all HAZMAT requirements are met
- Maintaining Shelf-Life Program using FIFO method
- Maintaining units for service
- Independently complete cycle counts on a monthly basis
- Collaborate with Operations Department with regard to receiving/rejecting purchase orders and parts distribution
- Collaborate with Quality Control Department to ensure FAA, EASA and other regulatory requirements regarding the storage and handling of parts and materials
- Run reports regularly in order to prioritize work
- Navigate ERP system to ensure expeditious processing of orders
- Maintain work areas clean and orderly
Position Requirements:
- Valid class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read, understand, and write the English language
- Previous inventory management experience
- Previous experience with Microsoft office, and outlook with an emphasis in Excel
- Previous experience with reading and interpreting technical certifications like trace documents
- Strong mathematical skills
Preferred Characteristics:
- Ability to operate a forklift (license not required)
- Inventory and warehouse experience preferred
- Aptitude for counting and inventory management
- Must be organized and detailed oriented
- Work independently and also in a team environment
