Slot Technician

Summary of Duties:

Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment.

Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards.

To ensure that all gaming machines are in good working order for optimal play.

• Check duty roster and read all communication from the Slot Performance Coordinator at the beginning of the shift.
• Communicate any departmental issues or concerns to the Slot Performance Coordinator.
• Become knowledgeable of all gaming machine, tournament games, promotional games, and departmental regulations, and policies & procedures. Maintain all gaming machines in good working order.
• Troubleshoot problems and repair machines when needed.
• Place service calls to vendors when efforts to repair machines have been exhausted, or when parts are needed.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and current records of games.
• Report any repetitive machine issues or complaints to the Slot Performance Coordinator.
• Check parts inventory periodically and work with vendors to maintain an adequate supply of parts.
• Assist with machine installs, conversions, and removals.
• Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of prior experience.
• Electrical wiring training or experience required.
• Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing IGT Advantage, hardware, and Class2 & Class 3 gaming machines.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.

Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
