Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support overnight operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Miami, OK. This role plays a critical part in keeping production equipment operating efficiently and safely.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment while supporting safety initiatives and mentoring team members as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, repair, and replace machine components to support continuous production
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including plastic blow molding machines
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to resolve technical issues
- Support safety programs and comply with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Mentor apprentices and share maintenance best practices
- Promote 6S principles and participate in safety audits
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex equipment
- Welding experience preferred
- Must own a complete set of hand tools and toolbox
- Lock Out/Tag Out certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours on concrete surfaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures as required by the facility
