Job Description POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of electrical systems and tools. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices, The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Performs various corrective/preventive repairs as assigned for building maintenance.
- Maintains inventory of items such as light bulbs and equipment parts.
- Conducts inspections and repairs of lights. Indoor & outdoor.
- Familiar with high & low voltage.
- Completes assigned work orders as needed and may assist other departments.
- Perform any other maintenance duties or tasks as assigned.
- General knowledge blueprints and schematics.
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more, be able to stand and/or walk 8 hours a day.
- Must be familiar with all common hand tools and their uses.
- Ability to climb and maneuver a ladder and be comfortable with heights.
