Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support accounting operations, including data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, data analysis, and reconciliations. The ideal Staff Accountant candidate is analytical, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities of Staff Accountant- Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Analyze and compare two data sets to identify inconsistencies and errors.
- Manage assignments independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong data entry, reconciliation, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Previous forensic accounting experience.
- Experience investigating financial discrepancies.
The ideal Staff Accountant will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable analyzing financial data while ensuring accuracy and integrity across accounting records.
