We are looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to support day-to-day invoice processing activities for a team in Miamisburg, Ohio. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with vendors and internal departments to keep payments accurate and on schedule. The role focuses on maintaining strong accounts payable practices, resolving documentation issues, and providing dependable clerical and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming invoices, assign the correct accounting details, and match them to purchase orders before submitting them for payment processing.
• Track down required internal approvals by partnering with departments across the organization to keep invoice workflows moving efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve purchase order mismatches, missing information, and other billing discrepancies that could delay payment.
• Respond to vendor questions, gather supporting documents when needed, and help maintain accurate account balances through routine reconciliation.
• Maintain organized financial records by filing, copying, scanning, and storing accounts payable documentation in a timely manner.
• Apply established accounts payable procedures and general accounting practices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in daily transactions.
• Assist with additional administrative and clerical tasks as needed to support the accounting function.
