Multimedia Journalist

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the role will include:

• Report, shoot and edit compelling news stories daily
• Enterprise local ideas that hold leaders accountable, break new information, and build community connections
• Build and maintain a strong source network across the Miami Valley region
• Produce content for broadcast, digital and social media platforms
• Pitch and develop character-driven and solutions-focused stories that resonate with viewers
• Collaborate closely with newscast producers, digital producers, management and on-air talent

• Sharp news judgement
• Ability to adapt to a rapid changes daily
• Strong shooting, writing and editing skills
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and AVID editing software a massive plus
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and deliver accurate and quality content

• Minimum 1 year of reporting experience or equivalent college experience
• A valid driver's license
