Job Repsonsibilities

The Quality Engineer – Containment is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of Accelevation’s containment product line, including the cutting, fabrication, and assembly of doors, panels, and related components. The role supports process control, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across all containment activities. The Quality Engineer works directly with Operations and Engineering to address issues, verify requirements, and maintain stable, repeatable processes.

  • Provide hands‑on quality support across fabrication and assembly operations
  • Monitor process stability and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process or product issues
  • Support disposition of nonconforming materials
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and maintain process consistency
  • Review and approve inspection documentation, control plans, and process checks
  • Drive accountability for operators and inspectors regarding quality requirements, including inspection and acceptance criteria
  • Maintain clear documentation for NCRs, CAPAs, and process improvements
Required skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • 3+ years of Quality experience in a fabrication and assembly environment
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and assembly
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015
  • Experience with SPC, capability analysis, and measurement system analysis
  • Lean or Six Sigma training or certification
