We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full‑time Mid‑Level Design Engineer position in Dayton, Ohio
. The successful candidate will possess a can‑do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.
Pay: $85,000 – 140,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

Mid-level Design Engineer Essential Functions- Perform engineering design tasks for projects from preliminary to final design.
- Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages.
- Establish working relationships and contact with client technical staff and project manager.
- Provide engineering design services for traditional design‑bid‑build projects and design‑build projects.
- Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design and construction plans.
- Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors and client managers.
- Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance.
- Actively participate and serve in positions with professional organization(s).
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required
- P.E. license required
- 4-9 years of experience required
- Experience working with DOTs preferred
- AutoCAD Civil 3D software experience preferred
