Job Description

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. We specialize in goals‑based wealth management, including planning for retirement, education, legacy, and other life goals through investment advice and guidance.

Merrill’s Financial Advisors and Wealth Management Client Associates help clients pursue the life they envision through a personal relationship with their advisory team committed to their needs. We believe trust comes from transparency. Our trusted advisory teams combine Merrill’s investment insights with Bank of America’s banking convenience.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor in the centralized segment of the Advisor Development Program, you begin by obtaining Securities Industry licenses with dedicated classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 Exams. You will learn foundational advisor skills—acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, considering complex financial pictures, and guiding clients with advice and solutions.

Financial Solutions Advisors are phone‑based licensed advisors who provide clients with holistic financial advice by identifying broader product and service solutions that meet their investment, savings, and liability management needs. You will work with affluent and high net‑worth clients, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare investment recommendations.

After successfully completing the FSA stage, you typically progress to the next train‑and‑develop stage as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA), opening a career path within Merrill Wealth Management.

  • Provide end‑to‑end comprehensive advice and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners, connecting clients to all solutions offered through Bank of America and Merrill.
