Preferred Qualifications: The LTC Pharmacist is responsible for assisting with total operations of Collaborative Pharmacy Services. This includes technician supervision, order entry verification, review, approval, unit dosing, and packaging of unit dose boxes. Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Required Licenses: Current registered Pharmacist license for the State of Ohio.
• Required Skills: Knowledge of drug treatment, interaction, and administration. Knowledge of drug compounding. Ability to interact professionally with patients, medical staff, and third party payers. Ability to supervise others. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. Organizational skills. Long Term Care Pharmacy experience is a plus. Knowledge of controlled substance regulations. Basic computer skills – Ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Essential Functions: Verification of orders, ensuring accuracy and clinical appropriateness. Verification of packaged medications. Provide customers with excellence customer service. Oversee duties of Pharmacy Technician. Schedule will include a combination of first and second shift hours; weekend coverage will also be required.
