Kingston of Miamisburg is seeking a caring and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and respiratory care team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll work directly with residents to restore mobility, build strength, and improve independence in a collaborative, patient-centered environment in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Deliver therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist

Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities

Document progress accurately and provide updates to the Physical Therapist

Educate residents and families on safe movement and at-home exercise programs

Support residents recovering from surgery, illness, or complex respiratory conditions

Create a motivating, positive therapy environment that promotes healing and confidence

Ensure therapy services comply with Ohio state regulations and Kingston’s standards of care

Active Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or respiratory care preferred (new grads welcome)

Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

A compassionate, resident-first mindset and team-focused approach

Ability to work independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
