Business Law, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

As part of a small and dedicated team, you will support United Grinding North America from our corporate headquarters in Miamisburg, Ohio on a wide range of legal and compliance matters in a highly international context. You will work closely with various departments in cross-functional teams and assume responsibility of the legal work-stream in negotiations, documentation and execution of contracts.
Your key responsibilities will be the following:
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and documenting commercial contracts, mainly related to sourcing activities and the manufacture, supply and distribution of our products
- Advising the business on all legal matters and developing pragmatic solutions to legal issues for all areas of the business
- Handling of disputes, litigation and investigations and overseeing legal defense actions in disputes with suppliers and customers
- Managing external lawyers as required
- Handling corporate law and corporate secretary matters
Your Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate plus 1-4 years post-qualification experience in a law firm or in the legal department of a multinational company
- Solid experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Willingness to travel
