Test Technician

• Investigate process and manufacturing problems during testing and initiate corrective actions.
• Determine proper test set‑ups, conduct tests, troubleshoot, and notify appropriate personnel when problems arise.
• Prepare graphs, charts, and tabulations of testing data, maintain testing data, and analyze data under guidance of an engineer.
• Perform routine analyses to check applicability, accuracy, and completeness of data.
• Calibrate, adjust, operate, and maintain environmental test equipment as required.
• Assist in designing a variety of tools, jigs, and fixtures that help increase production efficiency.
• Handle multiple projects and perform coordination with other operations to ensure schedules are met.
• Perform other related duties of comparable complexity as directed.

• High school diploma or equivalent and 6–24 months of industrial experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience using hand tools.
• Ability to read assembly prints and follow written instructions.
• Must obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Hands‑on and critical‑thinking skills are required to solve problems.
• Experience in setup, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
• Application of lean manufacturing principles and/or Six Sigma tools in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office (Excel and Outlook).
• U.S. citizenship is required due to Department of Energy requirements.
