We are looking for a detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious team member to join our production support team. In this role, you will manage the flow of raw materials and finished goods that keep our production lines running, becoming an expert in our warehouse operations from receiving dock to final shipment preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics & Receiving:
Manage the receiving dock by identifying, verifying, and storing incoming materials from vendors and production. - Material Handling:
Safely operate forklifts, order pickers, swing reaches, and other equipment to load/unload carriers and move loads up to 2,000 lbs. - Inventory Integrity:
Maintain 100% accuracy in inventory control databases and storage locator systems through precise data entry and legible handwritten logs. - Shipping Preparation:
Prepare orders for shipment, including pallet labeling, consolidation, and stretch wrapping according to strict specifications. - Production Support:
Serve as a central resource by performing inventory counts, resolving material discrepancies, and training peers. - Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify ways to reduce waste, improve process quality, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Proven safety record with material handling equipment and possession of a Material Handling License.
- Basic math skills, including decimals, fractions, and whole numbers.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Comfortable working at varying heights on specialized equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Team player who collaborates effectively with all levels of personnel.
